Key Job Details – Boston Nursing Opportunity

• Assignment Length: 15 weeks (holiday coverage required)
• Location: Boston, MA 02215 – Premier healthcare city in Massachusetts
• Facility: 600-bed teaching hospital, Level I trauma center
• Hours: 36 hours guaranteed biweekly
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/evenings/nights) and 8-hour shifts; every other weekend and holidays required
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026
• Employment Type: Travel RN (locum tenens)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2470 - $2540

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience, including Level I trauma center exposure
• Prior travel nurse experience required
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate web-based healthcare applications
• Experience in teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (no local travelers)
• Must not have worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent or per diem staff within the last six months

RN Responsibilities – Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool

• Float between 15 medical-surgical units: neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, GU, hips and joints, oncology, transplant (liver and kidneys), and vascular
• Deliver high-quality patient care with average nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1 (days) and 6:1 (nights)
• Perform unit-specific procedures: 12-lead EKGs, Lasix gtt, blood transfusions, telemetry monitoring
• Administer nebulizers (ventilators managed by Respiratory Therapy)
• Adapt to rotating assignments and schedules, including assignments received up to 2 hours before shift
• Participate in weekly orientation (every Monday, except holidays)
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling and honor requested time off (RTO) at time of submission
