Responsibilities:

  • Ability to implement program policies and procedures in order to maintain daily structure and consistency within the program milieu and maintain compliance with DPH licensing standards.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and develop positive professional relationships with staff and co-workers and outside professionals and complete all required documentation.

  • Knowledge of and edibility to work effectively with community-based resources, referral networks, and public/private systems of care.

  • Ability to assess basic physical, social, educational, legal, and service needs of a client and coordinate care with other inter-agency and community-based providers.

Qualifications:

  • C02: Case Manager I: Must have HSD/GED or HiSet; Associates degree preferred

  • C04: Case Manager II: Requires a Bachelor’s degree; preferably in the field of psychology or human services

  • Certification in addictions counseling or minimum of 1 (one) year of experience in field required.

  • This position requires transporting clients as an essential function of the role. A current, valid US Driver’s license and a review of your motor vehicle record is required for a determination of your eligibility to drive for this work-related purpose. A CHL vehicle may be available but if you will be using your personal vehicle you will be required to provide proof of current registration and inspection.

  • Knowledge of the Massachusetts continuum of care for substance abuse.

  • Understanding of addiction and recovery.

  • Desire to serve others required.
