Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Plymouth, MA 02360 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Float Pool – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: February 28, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (weekends and holidays required)
• Orientation: Biweekly
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470 - $2,540 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication competency exams (one attempt, 85% passing score)
• Documented professional development activities
• Knowledge of Critical Paths in clinical care
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
• Must not have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health in any capacity within the last 6 months

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
• Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, responding promptly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required clinical competencies
