Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in clinics, hospitals, or home settings.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses with patient assessments and treatments .
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs, growth, and developmental progress .
- Educate families on child health, nutrition, and medication management .
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation .
- Travel to various pediatric healthcare facilities for temporary assignments.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited LPN program .
- License: Active LPN license in the state of assignment or compact license.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a pediatric healthcare setting .
- Skills: Strong communication, patience, and adaptability in working with children and families.
- Certifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments .
