Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Milton, MA. This 13-week ER RN position starts 08/04/2026, with a guaranteed 72 hours biweekly and a 3x12-hour night shift. Weekly pay ranges from $2,509 to $2,606, in a hospital-based emergency department setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment with a focus on acute patient care, rapid assessment, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced ER environment. Key Highlights

- Deliver direct nursing care to ER patients, including triage, initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and documentation.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, analgesia, antibiotics, and other therapies as prescribed; monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
- Interpret telemetry/ECG data, recognize emergent rhythms, and initiate appropriate interventions; collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
- Support procedures and assist with patient turnover, transports, admissions, discharges, and transfers while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records, ensure infection control and safety standards, manage pain and anxiety appropriately, and communicate with patients and families. Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license at submission or a valid temporary license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ACLS/CPR and PALS or ENPC preferred); within current scope of practice.
- Education: graduation from an accredited nursing program and possession of an RN license.
- Experience: 2+ years of ER or acute-care nursing experience; telemetry/ECG competence required.
- Start date and location: must be able to start on 08/04/2026; must reside outside a 50-mile radius (no local travelers accepted).
- Onboarding and testing: must pass telemetry ECG and medications tests on orientation day; tests administered via Zoom; 85% passing required; one attempt; dysrhythmia and medication assessments will be part of the process.
