Located in Dorchester, MA, this contract position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and enhance the technology environment within a school setting. The role focuses on managing and supporting a diverse range of educational technologies and infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and promote effective technology integration in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and maintain school technology systems, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
• Advocate for technology awareness and utilization among staff and students.
• Support distance learning initiatives and contribute to the school's vision for technology growth.
• Coordinate, evaluate, and recommend software purchases and hardware replacements.
• Maintain detailed inventory records of all technology assets, including computers and supplies.
• Plan and supervise routine technology maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Provide staff development, training sessions, and direct assistance for hardware/software issues.
• Assist teachers with technology integration to enhance instructional effectiveness.
• Manage vendor relationships related to hardware and software upgrades, maintenance, and support.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and educational applications by attending conferences and participating in professional associations.
• Disseminate information about new tools and applications to relevant school personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in IT coordination or a related technical role within an educational environment.
• Familiarity with Google Admin Console, Clever, Chromebook operations, and Renaissance (Star360) software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common technology issues, including projector devices and laminator maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventories and vendor communications.
• Excellent communication skills to train and support staff and students.

Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
