A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Prior Authorization Pharmacist - Remote. The Pharmacist will be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Compensation:
- The pay for this position is $53.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Highlights:
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Training: Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST (no time off during first 8 weeks)
- Work Schedule: 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM–8:00 PM EST Monday–Friday and 7:00 AM–4:30 PM EST weekends on a set rotation
- Work From Home: Must have a separate, quiet workspace and wired internet with at least 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload
- Safety Sensitive Role
Responsibilities:
- Support Medicare Part D members and providers with pharmacy benefit requests
- Ensure accurate case setup, clinical review, and outreach to providers for additional information
- Make appropriate and timely decisions in compliance with compendia and Medicare guidelines
- Provide best-in-class service while ensuring accurate and timely documentation
- Dispense prescriptions, coordinate clinical services, and resolve orders via EA (External Adjudication) queue
- Review patient profiles and ensure quality assurance in all clinical activities
- Perform final dispensing quality check on all prescriptions for accuracy and dosage
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience (Must be Prior Authorization related experience)
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of residence
- Able to work independently and productively in a data-entry driven role
- Comfortable using multiple computer applications and dual monitors
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and a positive, engaged attitude
- Must be able to sit and focus for long periods with no interruptions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Experience working in a fast-paced, productivity-driven environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D required
- Active pharmacist license in good standing required
