Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team, in a full-time position. The right candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence in patient care. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking for a long-term career track.

Duties:
- Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
- Utilize dental clinic systems, including Epic, for patient management and documentation.
- Support the front desk as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant is required.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, and infection control practices is essential.
- Familiarity with dental clinic systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are necessary for maintaining patient records and managing appointments.
- Certification in dental assisting.
