Travel Registered Nurse Case Management Job
Registered Nurse – Lactation Consultant (Travel) in a hospital setting. Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Start date: June 15, 2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,279 to $2,306 per week. Shift: 5x8 days (eight-hour days). This travel assignment requires MA licensure and is open to RN, OT, PT, SLP, or Pharmacist candidates who meet the specified requirements and MA licensing. The role focuses on expert lactation management in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Highlights

- Holiday and OT multipliers: 1.25x Responsibilities
- Provide expert assessment, treatment, consultation, planning, and leadership oversight for lactation management in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Formulate interdisciplinary care plans for patients with advanced lactation needs and communicate goals to the care team.
- Develop and implement lactation programs, supporting inpatient lactation services and outpatient prenatal/postpartum education and consultations.
- Educate patients and families on lactation practices and breast-feeding techniques; document progress and outcomes in the patient record.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient care and coordinate care transitions.
- Maintain compliance with licensure requirements and facility policies; participate in quality improvement initiatives as applicable. Requirements
- Active Massachusetts nursing license (RN) and Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency (Nursing Pool) license uploaded with profile (required by MA).
- Board Certification: International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a minimum of 1 year experience (equivalent certifications are not accepted).
- Minimum 2,500 hours of lactation consultant experience.
- Experience with inpatient lactation programs; outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultations and/or teaching.
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
- Traveler must have own vehicle for this assignment.
- All RTO must be included in profile; requests after offer may be rescinded.
