About Us:
Latino Counseling Center is a dynamic, community-based behavioral health agency dedicated to providing culturally responsive services to children and families. We are expanding our CBHI services and seeking a Therapeutic Mentor to work directly with youth in their homes and communities.

Position Summary:
The Therapeutic Mentor provides structured, one-on-one strength-based support services to youth as part of a wraparound treatment plan. You’ll be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team focused on building life skills, promoting positive behaviors, and helping clients achieve treatment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with youth in their homes and communities
• Implement individualized service plans created by the clinical team
• Support skill-building in areas such as communication, problem-solving, social interaction, and daily functioning
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor
• Complete all required documentation and maintain timely progress notes

Qualifications:

• Associates' degree in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field or at least two years of experience working with youth or families in a behavioral health setting
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with culturally diverse populations required
• Candidates with bilingual/bicultural backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of the families we serve
• Preference may be given to candidates who can be matched to specific client needs , including male role modeling

Starting Pay $16 - $25- for the first 25 hours of work. Then $25 per hour after the frist 25 hours per week (productivity)
