Our client in the service space is looking for a part time Administrative Assistant on a temporary basis. Could have permanent potential for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position is well-suited for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys serving as a reliable point of contact for both internal staff and external clients. This will be a Mon-Fri 25-30 hour a week position with a flexible schedule option and you may be able to work from home a few days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately perform data entry and maintain well-organized records
- Provide professional customer service through phone and email correspondence
- Proofread and edit documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Answer and route phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner
- Support general office operations, including filing, scanning, and supply management
- Assist with scheduling meetings and preparing project-related materials
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic invoicing and recordkeeping
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail
