Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate families on care and treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and response to treatment in medical records.
Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care
- Current RN license in Massachusetts.
- BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Experience in pediatric intensive care nursing is preferred.
