PADELHUB is an emerging padel club operator that opened its Flagship Club in South Boston and the Seaport area in October 2025, becoming Boston’s First Indoor Padel Facility and the largest in New England. Our Flagship Club features six state-of-the-art indoor padel courts, two pickleball courts, an adidas pro shop, a lounge and co-working space, premium locker rooms and showers, and complimentary parking for members and guests. At PADELHUB, we create an outstanding club experience centered around wellness, community, and connection, a space designed to bring people together on and off our signature Blue Courts.

 

About the Role

PADELHUB is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and hands-on Assistant Club Manager to support daily club operations, lead programming and events, and deliver an exceptional member and guest experience. This role blends operations, hospitality, community building, and commercial execution in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Club Operations & Guest Experience

  • Oversee daily club operations, including scheduling, staffing coordination, and facility readiness
  • Maximize court utilization and member satisfaction
  • Respond to customer communication across email, WhatsApp, social media, and phone in a timely and professional manner
  • Oversee inventory management for the Pro Shop, Food & Beverage, and all club supplies
  • Cover front desk shifts as needed, approximately 2 shifts per week

Programming & Events

  • Plan, schedule, and execute club programming, including Open Plays, leagues, tournaments, clinics, academies, and coaching sessions
  • Coordinate private events and corporate bookings from planning through execution
  • Build match schedules, draws, and tournament formats that create a smooth and engaging player experience
  • Manage court allocation, event logistics, and calendar planning to optimize occupancy and revenue

Staff Leadership & Team Coordination

  • Supervise, train, and coordinate staff across front desk, coaching, and operations
  • Build and manage weekly staff schedules based on programming and operational needs
  • Maintain strong communication and alignment across team members and escalate issues when needed
  • Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment

Membership Growth, Sales & Community Outreach

  • Drive membership sales through strong onboarding, engagement, and retention strategies
  • Provide club tours and communicate membership benefits clearly to walk-ins, guests, and event attendees
  • Build strong relationships with members to strengthen loyalty, community, and overall experience
  • Actively attract new players to padel, including racquet sports enthusiasts, fitness communities, and people new to racquet sports
  • Develop relationships with schools, universities, gyms, local businesses, and social clubs to create trial sessions, partnerships, and custom events

Marketing & Communications

  • Promote programming, events, and club initiatives across Instagram, WhatsApp, email, and other community channels
  • Manage member-facing communications and support updates on schedules, launches, and events
  • Create and coordinate newsletters, emails, flyers, and banners for memberships, events, and tournaments
  • Capture photos and videos for social media and marketing materials and support local influencer and brand ambassador outreach
  • Be comfortable representing the brand in content such as reels, interviews, and event coverage

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong ownership mentality and accountability, with the ability to make decisions and escalate issues appropriately
  • Excellent customer service orientation and a genuine passion for delivering a best-in-class member experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and across digital channels
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with flexibility across evenings and weekends
  • Passion for racquet sports and community-driven experiences; padel knowledge or coaching experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Marketing, or Hospitality
  • 1+ years of experience in sports, hospitality, fitness, events, or facility management preferred
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
