Director of Treasury

Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a Director of Treasury. Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity planning, and risk management
• Provide strategic treasury leadership aligned with organizational financial and capital objectives
• Mentor, develop, and guide treasury staff to build a high-performing, well-controlled function
• Lead hospital and healthcare-related bond issuances, refinancings, and restructurings, including both taxable and tax-exempt debt
• Manage letters of credit (LOCs) and other credit enhancement structures
• Oversee compliance with bond covenants, continuing disclosure requirements, and related filings
• Support preparation and review of offering documents, official statements, and ongoing disclosure materials
• Serve as the primary treasury liaison with banks, underwriters, trustees, and financial advisors
• Manage relationships with major financial institutions and advisory firms
• Evaluate and recommend banking structures, financing options, and capital market strategies
• Support the organization's investment committee, including preparation of materials, analysis, and presentations
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external investment advisors to support portfolio oversight and strategy
• Present complex financial and treasury matters clearly and confidently to senior leadership and governance bodies
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and executive leadership on treasury-related initiatives
• Contribute to long-term capital planning, financial strategy, and enterprise risk management
• Ensure treasury policies, controls, and practices align with best practices and regulatory requirements
• Director-level experience in treasury or corporate finance
• Significant experience with not-for-profit healthcare or hospital debt structures
• Proven experience partnering with banks and external financial institutions
• Ability to staff, support, and present to a highly sophisticated investment committee

• Taxable and tax-exempt bonds
• Letters of credit (LOCs)
• Bond disclosure and regulatory filings

• CPA, CFA, MBA, or similar advanced credential
• Experience leading treasury functions in complex, regulated environments
