About the Role
Aspen Lake Medical Equipment is a leading durable medical equipment (DME) provider serving patients across Massachusetts. We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Driver to join our team in the Boston area. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery, setup, and pickup of medical equipment to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, and other care settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver, set up, and demonstrate the proper use of durable medical equipment to patients and caregivers
• Pick up equipment from patients as directed and ensure proper return processing
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records, obtaining required patient signatures
• Inspect and clean returned equipment according to company protocols
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, caregivers, and facility staff
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes throughout the Boston territory
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized vehicle
• Report vehicle maintenance needs and equipment issues promptly
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
• Assist with warehouse duties including inventory and equipment processing as needed
Qualifications
Required:
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and maneuver heavy medical equipment
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Basic computer/tablet skills for electronic documentation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred:
• Prior DME, medical supply, or healthcare delivery experience
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Familiarity with the Boston metropolitan areas
Schedule & Territory
• Full-time, Monday – Friday with occasional Saturday coverage as needed
• Service territory covers Boston metro areas
• Must be available for early morning start times
