Climb Higher (About the Job)
C & I Technician will work on wireless deployment efforts - hands-on, highly technical, and mission-critical. As a Wireless Integration Technician, you'll be responsible for executing upgrades, troubleshooting, and integrating wireless network equipment across a variety of environments. From rooftops to remote cabinets, your work will directly impact network performance and reliability. You'll collaborate with field crews, warehouse teams, and project managers to ensure every site meets the highest standards. Your Work that Keeps us Connected (Job Responsibilities)
- Install new BBUs into existing and new cabinets and perform power/cabling upgrades as necessary.
- Load install files and integrate new carriers (daytime or maintenance window).
- Perform IXR-e installation and migration.
- Troubleshoot alarms and configuration issues.
- Complete functional and PSAP call testing.
- Complete external alarm wiring and testing.
- Complete required documentation and close out packages.
- Work with warehouse to schedule equipment deliveries and pickups.
- Daily travel to cell sites throughout New England.
Signal Strength (Qualifications)
- Previous experience with Ericsson and Samsung BBU installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working in and around power plants and batteries.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Must be able to climb ladders, work on rooftop sites and work outdoors in inclement weather.
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
- No tower climbing required.
