Maintenance Worker II (Engineering)
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7, cGMP-regulated facility.
- Work with air handling units (AHUs), chillers, boilers, and cleanroom HVAC systems.
- Maintain temperature-controlled environments, including cold and warm rooms.
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately complete maintenance logs and system documentation.
- Apply strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to system issues.
- Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Support consistent environmental control to meet manufacturing and facility standards.
- Climb ladders, work in confined spaces, follow LOTO procedures, and work under hot work permits.
- Work in cold rooms.
- Be exposed to chemicals such as glycol, utilities, IPA, spor-klenz, and refrigerant.
- Operate scissor lift and boom lift.
Skills:
- 2+ years in a dedicated commercial HVAC role.
- Previous experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7, cGMP-regulated facility.
- Experience with AHUs, chillers, boilers, and cleanroom HVAC systems.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- HVAC Technician EPA Certification is a plus.
- Any additional licenses or trade certifications/licenses are a plus.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including every other Sunday, with 12-hour workdays.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma.
