Senior Manager, Communications Strategy - Temp

Are you the master builder who can help us plan exciting integrated communications experiences using everything LEGO has to play with?
This role is a 6-month temporary role. We’re looking for an experienced strategist who knows their owned from their earned, who dreams in consumer journeys, who gets as excited about a communications planning process as they do about big bold brave ideas. The LEGO Agency is responsible for designing and building integrated comms experiences across all touchpoints: owned, earned, shared and paid, and we’re looking for someone to join the team who can help us create the most engaging and effective strategies for kids, adults and brands.
Core responsibilities
Bring big ideas to life across our ecosystem in both campaign periods and across the year, through clear, compelling and connected user journeys across multiple touchpoints
Combine creativity and effectiveness through strong understanding of audiences, touchpoints and media thinking
Apply your understanding of how brands grow, and how effective comms create impact and drive results
Use data and research to inform your approach, whilst being open to creative innovation and exploration
Partner closely with Strategy and Creative leads to ensure our creative ideas make most effective use of an integrated mix of owned, earned and paid channels, and are deployed via innovative, targeted media and technology
Develop strong insights based on deep understanding of consumer and shopper needs as well as channels and behaviors
Create measurable campaign KPI’s, helping to enhance creative effectiveness and improve sell rate of innovative ideas
Strong storytelling, persuasive pitching and stakeholder engagement to get teams excited and onboard with your thinking
Help to shape and develop our planning processes and collaboration across agency, marketing and channel teams
Support your colleagues to refine their thinking, and build relationships across LEGO to create engaging experiences

The LEGO Agency is a global LEGO in-house advertising agency, creating award winning and compelling content and campaigns for the LEGO brand. The Global Communication Strategy department is all about understanding audience behaviors and inspiring creative work. The team leads and develops strategies for all LEGO channels, earned, owned and paid. This is a 6-month temporary role.
Do you have what it takes?
Extensive experience in a brand communications planning or strategy role, responsible for channel and campaign planning, and communication architecture
A proven track record of implementing holistic communications planning strategies across channels that brings big ideas to life
Experience of using data-driven planning tools, audience insight (qual and quant) and effectiveness data to build plans, and working within defined planning processes.
Experience of working with channels / media owners to develop creative and executional thinking
Ability to inform, move with, and stay ahead of consumer behaviors, technology platforms, and cultural shifts
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and emotional to be a critical member of our team
Desire to stay close to projects throughout their life-cycle to maintaining strategic and creative excellence
Passion for creating communication work that has an impact, that matters and that’s memorable
Proven experience as a storyteller and communicator; must have past examples of thought leadership
Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $134,750.00 - $202,126.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
