We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist skilled in operating, programming, and setting up CNC lathes integrated with automated robotic loading/unloading systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fanuc controllers and be proficient in Mastercam for programming and toolpath generation. This position plays a key role in ensuring precision, efficiency, and consistent part quality in a modern, automated machining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes equipped with robotic automation for part handling.
Create and edit CNC programs using Mastercam and directly on Fanuc controls as needed.
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining of various materials.
Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and verify first-piece quality to blueprint specifications.
Troubleshoot issues with part quality, machine performance, or robot operation.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and cycle times.
Maintain accurate documentation of setups, tooling, and program revisions.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, robots, and work areas.
Adhere to all company safety policies and quality standards.
