Emergency Room RN Job Details

• Location: Needham, Massachusetts 02492 (Greater Boston area)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/21/2026)
• Nursing Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (EVE/Nights; 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a), every other weekend, one major holiday
• Hours per Week: 36 (72 guaranteed hours biweekly)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470 - $2,540 per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Float Requirement: None

ER RN Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• PALS or ENPC certification
• TNCC preferred
• MAB preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Must not reside within 50 miles of Needham, MA
• Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent staff within the last six months are not eligible

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute medical conditions and trauma
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency nursing interventions
• Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR
• Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
