Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior CMM Programmer / Metrology Quality Technician for a highly reputable manufacturing client North of Boston . This DIRECT HIRE opportunity is perfect for an experienced quality pro with strong CMM programming skills and deep knowledge of precision inspection.

Location: North of Boston
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: $35.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Create, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize CMM programs (including vision systems).
• Perform complex First Article Inspections (FAIs) and precision inspections.
• Use GD&T expertise to ensure products meet exact dimensional and geometric requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and maintain accuracy.
• Train junior technicians and inspectors.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing projects.
• Support and improve inspection procedures and tooling/fixturing.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 6+ years in mechanical inspection and metrology within a manufacturing setting.
• 4+ years of advanced CMM programming (PC-DMIS or similar).
• 4+ years of Vision System programming experience.
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T and metrology principles.
• Proficient in using measurement tools, gages, fixtures, etc.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems .
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and multitasking ability.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident status required (DOD clearance eligibility).

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
