Product Manager - HVAC and Energy Management Systems - Remote | WFH

We are looking for a talented and passionate Product Manager to join our growing team. As a Product Manager, you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative HVAC energy management solutions that help property owners improve efficiency, manage costs, and enhance tenant comfort.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with design, hardware, and software engineering teams, as well as field and support operations. Your focus will be on ensuring that our solutions seamlessly integrate with HVAC systems in multi-tenant rental properties. You'll also engage directly with customers, prospects, and business partners, providing your expertise on HVAC systems and helping to align product development with market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with design, hardware, and software engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of energy management solutions with HVAC systems.
Develop and maintain clear product roadmaps that align with both customer and business needs.
Lead the creation of product requirements, specifications, and success metrics.
Engage directly with customers, prospects, and business partners, collecting feedback and translating it into actionable improvements.
Work with internal teams across engineering, field service, support, sales, and marketing, as well as external installation, channel, and manufacturing partners.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring effective communication and alignment with the engineering team.
Provide technical product expertise to support field service and sales teams, including product demonstrations.
Stay informed on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor products to guide product strategy.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial) or a related field.
3+ years of experience in product management, ideally in HVAC or energy management solutions.
Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, performance, and operations.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, support, and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Experience managing product roadmaps, defining requirements, and working with agile development teams.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
