• Pulsed Power Systems
• High Voltage Electronics
• Liquid Metal Systems
• Fusion Plasma Diagnostics
• Capacitor Bank Design and Testing
• Electromagnetic Interference Mitigation
• Vacuum and Insulating Systems (e.g. SF6 polymers ceramics)

What You Might Work On

Depending on your background and interests you may contribute to:

• Designing and testing pulsed power components and systems (e.g. Marx generators spark gap switches capacitor banks)
• Developing mechanical assemblies for high-voltage fusion experiments
• Supporting fusion plasma diagnostics and data acquisition systems
• Collaborating on the design and operation of next-generation Z-pinch fusion devices
• Working with high-voltage safety protocols and lab testing procedures
