We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Medical Oncology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing specialized care to patients diagnosed with cancer. Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing various types of cancer, making a significant impact on the lives of patients and their families. You will be involved in cutting-edge research, innovative treatments, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and stage different types of cancer accurately.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for cancer patients.
- Monitor and manage the side effects of cancer treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in oncology research and treatment modalities.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cancer diagnosis and treatment.
- Conduct clinical trials and research studies to contribute to the advancement of cancer care.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Medical Oncology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a physician.
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating various types of cancer.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of oncology.
Schedule: 4 or 5-day workweek
Shifts: 8a-4p
1:7 call rotation
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Census: 12-15 per day
Research opportunities available
Rotating interdisciplinary tumor boards
Onsite chemotherapy and infusion services
Support Staff: NPs, nurses, executive directors, director of nursing, etc.
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
