Blackrock Utility Co is a civil construction company that focuses on commercial work in LNG, power, nucellar and gas plants. Ideal candidates will have experience in a range of skill sets. We are a small but growing construction company and are looking to expand our work force with quality people.
Job SummaryWe are seeking multiple positions; Machine operator, Forman and Laborer for commercial construction. All positions can be grown into and taught.
Machine operator- 2 years experience with a clean history of operating. Must have current hoisting licenses as well as the ability to pass background and drug tests.
Forman - 4 years minimum construction experience. Willing to learn and grow in their position while supporting their crew.
Laborer- Must have a work history and be able to pass a background and drug test. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of large, heavy machinery safely, such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and more
- Maintain all equipment used, including cleaning and regular maintenance
- Follow best digging practices for all projects
- Work closely with the rest of the team on each project to ensure success
- Must hold the proper license to operate heavy machinery in the state
- Previous construction or heavy equipment experience desired
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work well within a team environment
