Senior AP Specialist
Kforce has a client in Brockton, MA that is seeking a Senior AP Specialist. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices, including two-way and three-way matching
- Review and process non-purchase order and expense invoices
- Route invoices for approval and verify proper authorization and accurate coding
- Support scheduled payment processing and check runs
- Maintain complete and accurate accounts payable documentation and records
- Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting support
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice or payment issues
- Work across multiple systems and adapt to changing workflows as needed
- Support training, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of internal controls, approval workflows, and invoice processing standards
- Experience processing non-PO invoices and managing approval routing
- Ability to work independently and contribute immediately in a fast-paced, controls-driven setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools preferred
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills for tracking and reconciliation
