Description

We are a privately held, well-established company with a successful history of manufacturing liquid, semi-solid and powder formulations of both prescription and OTC products. We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler

· Performs simple in-process inspections for quality. Quality checks may include: checking for presence and quality of printed lot number, expiration date and sequential number code on shipping cartons. Inspects product and/or components for conformity to quality standards. Calls out from production all, dirty, damaged or non-conforming filled goods and/or components.

· Packages containers into cartons, tapes cartons and places on pallet

· Applies product information or date coding onto shipping cartons on the packaging line.

· Applies closures to filled containers on a packaging line, maintaining speed of application with the speed of the line.

· Maintain packing rate which keeps up with the speed of the line

· Performs cleaning of packaging equipment and facilities as directed by Line Leader.

· Performs cleaning of general workstation and complies with current good manufacturing practices.

Pay: $16.50/hr

Shift: First (1st) shift: 6:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good Listening and comprehension skills.

• Must be able to lift 15-20lbs. May require bending, carrying, pushing, kneeling, standing for long periods of time.

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brockton, MA.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Brockton,MA.
