Principal Engineer

Job Facts & Figures:
Engineering :
- Deep full-lifecycle software development experience, focus on embedded systems; from initial requirements elicitation to design, coding, testing, documentation, implementation, integration and training.
- Be able to act as a Product Owner in an agile engineering team.
- (Temporarily) lead an engineering team.
- Interact with key decision-makers in the engineering, software development, and R&D departments of existing and potentially new clients.
- Create the technical and project-related sections of tailored proposals to meet specific client needs.
Business Development :
- Support the business development team in identifying and generating leads through channels like social media, events, and networking.
- Understand the software engineering services landscape and our competitive advantages.
- Support client negotiations and address objections whenever technical questions are being touched.
- Collaborate with business development and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility.
- Meet or exceed technical sales objectives, contributing to company growth.
Qualifications:
- College or equivalent degree in Software/Electronical/Electrical/Medical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years of experience in principal engineering, focus on embedded systems, or a similar function.
- Knowledge of North American Medtech market (Automotive or Aerospace are a plus).
