Polestar Boston is looking for a Car Hauler / Vehicle Transport Driver / Truck Trailer Driver to join their busy store.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $30-35/hr

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload vehicles onto the transport truck, ensuring proper securing and protection during transport

• Transport vehicles to various locations, following all traffic and safety regulations, while ensuring timely delivery

• Inspect vehicles before loading and upon delivery for any pre-existing damage and report any discrepancies

• Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and inspection reports, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date

• Maintain safety standards by following all company guidelines and industry regulations, including securing cargo and driving responsibly

• Ensure vehicles are properly handled, preventing any damage during loading, unloading, and transport

• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and locations, providing updates when necessary

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A with a clean driving record

• Pass and maintain a DOT Medical card

• Prior experience as a car hauler or in vehicle transportation is preferred

• Able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand, and climb as required to secure a vehicle

• Professional appearance and work ethic

• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and ensure a smooth delivery process
