Office Assistant/Legal Assistant
About the Job:
****IN PERSON**** We are one of the most prominent Personal Injury Law Firms looking for the right individual to expand our in-person office staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has strong organizational skills, phone skills, intake skills, and good communication skills.
Duties include:
- Morning Tasks: Collecting the mail from the post office, getting coffee, etc.
- General Errands: Bringing packages to FedEx/the post office, going to the bank, etc.
- Answering the phone and transferring calls.
- New client intakes.
- Closing Tasks: Locking all doors, emptying trash, setting phones to after-hours, etc.
- Filing.
- Helping keep files organized, compiling and requesting records, and other office duties.
- Handling and managing cases, drafting letters, maintaining client relationships.
- Drafting demands, retrieve information from files.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be self-motivated, pro-active and a fast learner.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
