As our Procore-driven project lead, you’ll be the person who knows each project better than the client’s representative, keeps the client informed, and teaches the team what success looks like. Under the guidance of a Construction Operations Manager (COM), you’ll orchestrate schedules, budgets, procurement, and daily execution—always aiming to deliver under budget and on time. And if a night shift encounters the unexpected, you’ll be a phone call away to help solve it.

How You’ll Win

Plan and Execute

• Develop construction schedules and labor requirements to align with client timeframes; obtain COM approval.
• Maintain short- and long-range planning to keep work flowing.
• Update schedules at cadence-appropriate intervals and publish in Procore.

Control Cost and Change

• Monitor budgets weekly with on-time forecasting and change order processing.
• Review job cost reports; raise concerns for management review.
• Keep budgets current in Procore, including forecast-to-complete.
• Track all change events and change orders in Procore.

Source and Coordinate

• Coordinate and procure all materials needed for execution.
• Work with warehouse staff to track delivery of materials and equipment.
• Partner with purchasing to place orders.

Bid and Buy Out

• Collaborate on estimates for projects going to bid.
• Ensure adequate subcontractor bidding with Estimating and the COM.
• Assist with RFP/bid packages and track the process.
• Select and buy out subcontractors.

Lead the Team

• Arrive prepared for weekly meetings with current schedules, financials, and key issues.
• Address in-house labor issues alongside the COM and General Superintendent.
• Lead inclusively by example—win as a team.
• Run daily huddles (Teams or in person) so the written shift scope is crystal clear.
• Assign work appropriately to individuals.
• Provide phone support for the night shift when unforeseen issues arise.

What You Need

Skills

• Expertise with Procore Construction Software.
• Fluency in reading architectural/engineering plans and communicating precise expectations to the team.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and developing financial projections.
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• Talent for managing multiple projects and rapidly resolving urgent issues.
• Delegation strength with thorough follow-up.

Professional Development & Knowledge Base

• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency.
• Experience with project management software – PROCORE.
• Experience with project scheduling (e.g., MS Project).
• 5 years of construction management experience.
• 2 years of commercial construction experience.
