Sr. Real Estate Accountant - Residential/Multi-Family

We are looking for a Senior Real Estate Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and analysis across a portfolio of residential properties. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financials, supporting property managers, and providing leadership with actionable insights that drive operational and investment decisions.

💰Compensation: Up to $105,000 base salary per year, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

- Hybrid based work set-up with an office located in a convenient area in Braintree, MA

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Analyze financial results and highlight property-level trends
• Partner with leadership and property managers on budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and industry regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience
• 3+ years focused on residential property or real estate accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software
• Knowledge of real estate compliance, regulatory reporting, or GAAP audits
