Role Description

The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily jobsite operations, including managing work crews, coordinating with project managers, ensuring workplace safety, coordinating materials and equipment, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, performing inspections, and maintaining high construction quality standards. Effective communication with team members, vendors, and clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage commercial roofing crews on active job sites
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship
• Communicate with project managers, vendors, inspectors, and clients
• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents
• Train and mentor crew members
• Complete daily reports and documentation
• Conduct weekly toolbox talks and relevant safety training

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience (TPO, EPDM, PVC, etc.)
• 2+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
