Remote Pharmacist in Charge in Norwood, MA

Soliant
Norwood, MA

Job Description

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A reputable home respiratory and medical equipment company is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to support their expanding shipping operations into North Dakota. This remote, license-posting position plays a vital role in maintaining compliance with North Dakota Board of Pharmacy regulations for shipping diabetes supplies, respiratory equipment, and medications throughout the state.

Location: Remote (North Dakota license posting required)
Travel: Occasional travel to Massachusetts for site visits—possible monthly or quarterly
Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Position Overview:
This unique opportunity requires no active pharmacy dispensing or day-to-day operations. The pharmacist’s responsibility will be to maintain and post their North Dakota Pharmacist in Charge license for the shipping facility. The role involves oversight of licensure compliance rather than hands-on pharmacy practice, making it suitable for currently practicing pharmacists seeking supplemental income or those interested in a flexible commitment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and clear North Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Comfortable serving as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for shipping operations
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining licensure
  • Willingness to work under a flexible fee or direct hire arrangement
  • Availability for periodic site visits to Massachusetts as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold and post the Pharmacist in Charge license for the company’s North Dakota shipping operation
  • Ensure compliance with North Dakota Board of Pharmacy requirements
  • Coordinate occasional site visits related to licensure oversight
  • Serve as a compliance liaison without involvement in active dispensing or clinical duties

This position is an excellent fit for pharmacists looking for a flexible, low-commitment role that leverages their licensure to support a growing medical equipment company’s shipment operations.

Interested candidates with a valid North Dakota pharmacy license and a willingness to serve as PIC remotely are encouraged to apply. This contract-to-hire role offers the flexibility to discuss arrangements based on your professional needs. Apply today to learn more about this specialized opportunity.

Compensation for this position ranges from $60.00 to $72.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
