A growing behavioral health practice is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its team, with a preference for candidates based in or near Andover, MA . This role offers flexibility in scheduling with the opportunity to grow from part-time to full-time, while working within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an independently licensed PMHNP who is comfortable treating adolescents and adults and values a hybrid model of care with both in-person and outpatient services.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Flexible FTE: 0.5 to 1.0 (part-time to full-time growth opportunity)

Preferred location: Andover (in-office presence required)

Hybrid work model with a minimum of 50% in-person care

Role Overview

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for a diverse patient population
• Treat patients across a range of ages, primarily adolescents (12/13+) through adults
• Deliver care in both in-person and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
• Maintain high-quality, patient-centered care in a growing practice environment

Schedule & Work Setup

• Flexible schedule based on FTE (0.5–1.0)
• Minimum of 2 in-office days per week required
• At least 50% of time must be spent in-person
• Opportunity to increase to full-time based on mutual interest and practice growth

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $160,000 – $165,000
• Fee-for-service (FFS) rate: $132 – $140 per unit
• Compensation structure: paid based on whichever is higher—base salary or FFS productivity
• Expected total compensation for full-time providers: $178,000 – $197,500 based on productivity

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Independently licensed (must not require physician oversight; not within initial 2-year supervision period)
• Experience treating adolescents and adult populations (12/13+ preferred)
• Comfortable providing both in-person and outpatient psychiatric care
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment
• Interest in long-term growth within the practice
