CNC Machinist - Programming, Setup & Operation
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support the production of precision components. This role is responsible for CNC programming, machine setup, operation, and inspection across multiple stages of the machining process.

Responsibilities:
- Perform additional shop duties as needed.
- Track and report work-order progress and quantities produced.
- Perform machine setup, including tooling, offsets, and adjustments.
- Operate equipment across multiple stages of the production process.
- Participate in cross‑training within machining and assembly functions.
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all machine‑guarding protocols.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and tolerances to ensure accurate production.
- Follow established machining procedures and maintain high quality standards.
- Inspect parts using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Program and operate CNC machines to manufacture custom and precision parts.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
- Strong understanding of machining safety practices.
- 3–5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
- Experience with CNC programming, setup, and operation.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work independently and meet production timelines.
- Experience with common CNC controllers (e.g., Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma)
- Background in precision machining, job‑shop, aerospace, medical, or similar environments.
