Financial Reporting Specialist $100k/yr

Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual, quarterly, and interim financial statements and footnotes in compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Create investor-specific monthly reports and address investor inquiries
• Prepare monthly/quarterly accounting reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
• Compile audit deliverables and review communications from auditors
• Analyze daily trades for proper classification within the accounting system
• Prepare/review materials for Board of Directors meetings
• Conduct accounting guidance research and contribute to special projects and process improvements

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or large-scale National CPA firms strongly preferred) with a focus on financial services clients
• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA completion
• Experience with regulatory reporting and familiarity with consolidation accounting
• Background in hedge funds, private equity, or financial services a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
