Compensation: $16–20/hr

We are a well-established, custom sign‐making business serving a wide variety of commercial and municipal clients. Our shop specializes in large‐format printing, vinyl graphics, and installation services.

Job Description

As a Production Assistant , you will support our Graphics/Production Department by handling various finishing and fabrication tasks:

• Operate large‐format printers and vinyl cutters (e.g. loading media, inks)

• Laminate, mount, trim, grommet, and finish printed signs, banners, and displays

• Conduct quality checks: proofread work orders, check finishing standards like wrinkles, alignment, and secure fittings

• Assemble or mount prints onto substrates (e.g. foam board, aluminum)

• Help with routine shop cleanup and maintain equipment readiness

• Assist with onsite installations or deliveries

• Provide general support to designers, installers, and production staff as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• High school diploma or GED

• 1–2 years experience in sign fabrication, large‐format printing, or related production environment preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Basic computer literacy (e.g. reading work orders, entering job data)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and bend for extended periods and climb on ladders

Preferred:

• Proficiency in design software preferred

• Experience with CNC routing, panel saws, or basic fabrication helpful, but not necessary

• Familiarity with safe tool and equipment use

• Valid driver’s license for site installs
