Permanent, full-time DMD/Dental Director on the campus of UMass Amherst - July/August 2026 start date

FlossTime is looking for a full-time dentist to join us on the campus of UMass Amherst for three-to-four days starting before the end of Summer 2026. We are looking for a skilled, forward-thinking dentist passionate about delivering exceptional care in this dynamic, innovative setting. Join us in revolutionizing the dental care industry! Working with us, you’ll have the opportunity to step in as the Dental Director at our full-time on-campus clinic in Western Massachusetts. Our on-site setup is equipped with state-of-the-art, high-tech tools designed for modern dental professionals who want to elevate their practice.

Days of week @ UMass Amherst: Tues, Wed, Thurs to start, then will increase to four days as needed… (3-4 day weekends, every weekend!)

Hours – 8:00am to 6pm, 1 hour lunch

Cutting-Edge Mobile Dentistry – Work with top-tier technology in our fully-equipped mobile dental units, ensuring the highest standard of care. nomad x-rays machines, panoramic xray machine, lab/milling machine, and newest version of the iTero desktop scanner.

Focus on Patient Care – Our dedicated team handles all administrative tasks, from treatment planning and billing to patient communication, so you can focus entirely on providing top-quality care and building lasting patient relationships based on trust.

Dentist Requirements & Skills

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Ability to do on-site extractions is a plus and highly considered***
• Active and valid license to practice dentistry in the state of Massachusetts.
• Compliance with all licensing requirements and continuing education obligations.
• Have a reliable transportation for travel to/from UMass Amherst
• Must be outgoing and have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and a diverse team of dental professionals.
• Proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Specialties also considered!
• Educate student patients on oral health practices and collaborate on long-term dental care strategies.
• Cultivate strong connections with patients, fostering an environment of trust and comfort.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Must hold a current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Adherence to high ethical and professional standards in patient care and business practices.
• Someone who thinks like a dental entrepreneur and not afraid to think big.
