ADMINISTRATOR IN TRAINING (AIT)
Blaire House of Tewksbury is a 131-bed skilled nursing center. We have been family owned and operated, servicing the health care needs of seniors for 50 years. We specialize in Short Term Care, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, Sub-acute Care, and Alzheimer's Specialty Care. Our campus also hosts an Assisted Living Facility and Senior Transportation.
Blaire House of Tewksbury is seeking an energetic Administrator in Training of Nursing to uphold our high standards for senior care!
The Administrator in Training (AIT) is responsible for developing the skills and competencies for the total operation of the long-term care facility. The position demands the development of an in-depth proficiency in all the various components comprising the delivery of goods and services to the residents of the long-term care facility. The AIT is called upon to exhibit and to practice proven managerial skills in areas such as public relations, marketing, purchasing, budgeting, employee relations and evaluations, overall financial management, and both short-term and long-term planning, research and development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree required. Master’s Degree is preferable but not required. At least five years’ experience in healthcare management is required.
Must be approved as an AIT by the Nursing Home Administrators Board (NHAB). Once approved, an internship will commence and upon completion of the internship and final approval of the NHAB, individual will be eligible to take the National Administrator’s Board Exam and become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Massachusetts.
