Assembler - Entry Level!

Job Title: General Assembler

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

Location: Beverly, MA 01915

Shift: 1st

Shift M-F am-3pm OR 7am-4pm

**Notes from Intake:

**

• Replacement for Rafael Dominguez who was let go due to poor attendance
• We had some candidates on req 18232 with no client feedback, I’d call those candidates
• General assembly of components, able to work with small parts using hands and small hand tools
• Able to use hands for repetitive plugging and unplugging of small connectors
• Hiring manager is Al DeDonato, Operations Manager. Please look for candidates with assembly experience. Not seeking a laborer, warehouse type as they are unfamiliar with MFG environment. Some computer experience required.
• Drug test 4 panel – THC is not a disqualifier.
• E-Verify – Must be US Citizen and ITAR compliant.
• Entry level role, looking for candidates with good attitudes, eager to learn and someone who’s had longevity, if they worked temp assignments that’s okay (not looking for someone who was a driver, CSR rep, assembler etc.)
• Someone who can adapt, mechanical skills are a big PLUS (automotive, can fix things, gear heads).
• Following written blueprints and work instructions, need to know how to measure.
• Onsite interview to hire.

**Essential functions:

**

Build connector assemblies and components to customer drawings.

**Required skills (mandatory):

**

• Can read and follow manufacturing work instructions.
• Able to use measuring tools such as rulers and calipers.
• Able to cut and strip wires.
• Able to use small hand tools.
• Years experience 0-1+ years' desired.
• Education: HS diploma or equivalent

**Physical requirements:

**

• Repetitive use of small hand tools
• Lifting to 25 lbs.
• Walking, standing, and sitting.

You should be proficient in:

• High School / GED
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
