Amergis Educational Staffing is excited to partner with Schools in Westwood to hire Behavior Technicians for the 2025-2026 school year! If you're passionate about supporting students with behavioral needs and making a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Position Overview

• Location: Westwood, MA

• Start Date: ASAP

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours vary based on school

• Duration: Full 2025-2026 School Year

• Pay Rate: Up to $28/hour - based on experience

• Requirement: BT Experience of at least 1 year

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and small group behavioral support to students

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

• Support academic and social-emotional development

• Collect and document behavioral data using district-approved systems

• Collaborate with teachers, BCBA, and support staff to ensure student success

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience working in ABA or behavioral support roles

• Skilled in de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques

• Familiarity with data collection tools and behavior tracking methods

• Calm, patient, and adaptable in fast-paced environments

• Willingness to support multiple classrooms and student needs

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
