Position Title: Fund Accountant - Hybrid

Location: Boston, MA 02210

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 6+ Months with the possibility of extension

Job Type: Hybrid

Pay Range: $23.00/hr.- $24.00/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

We are seeking a Fund Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fund accounting operations for commingled investment portfolios and a proven ability to deliver accurate and timely net asset values while resolving breaks and exceptions .

Responsibilities:

· Execute daily NAV processes including transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash, and special handling.

· Serve as primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries.

· Verify data, identify breaks, and drive timely resolution and escalation as needed.

· Manage daily volume and production reporting while meeting department standards for quality and timeliness.

· Monitor issues, follow up on open inquiries, and coordinate with internal departments for resolution.

· Contribute to management reporting, including Clarity, PVCs, past dues, cash breaks, and R&A analysis.

· Support division and firm process improvement initiatives and drive individual productivity gains.

· Communicate professionally and constructively to minimize risk and exposure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

· Demonstrated Microsoft Office proficiency.

· Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.

· Ability to work in a team, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure.

· Ability to work US holidays and overtime as necessary.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with fund accounting platforms and break resolution tools.

· Prior experience with derivatives operations or valuations.
