Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the development of advanced systems and technologies. This role supports complex programs involving system design, integration, testing, and performance verification across mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering planning and execution across design, development, integration, and verification phases.

• Manage cross-functional teams, including internal staff and subcontractors, to meet technical, schedule, and budget goals.

• Coordinate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.

• Drive systems engineering processes and lead milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).

• Support development of technical documentation, specifications, and interface control documents.

• Oversee engineering inputs to program schedules and resource planning.

• Represent engineering efforts in customer meetings, internal reviews, and proposal development.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.

• 6+ years of experience in engineering project execution within space, defense, or aerospace domains.

• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements flow-down, and verification/validation processes.

• Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers in complex development efforts.

• Familiarity with PLM tools (e.g., Windchill), requirements management systems, and DoD lifecycle planning.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and technical presentation skills.

• Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience with DoD or government programs strongly preferred.

This is a Permanent position based out of Acton, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $230000.00/yr.
