Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver

Pro Tool and Supply/Pro Equipment Rental, a leader in the construction sales and rental industry is looking for a multi purpose team member based in Waltham, MA

Duties

Duties would include assisting in the warehouse picking, receiving, and loading orders into delivery vehicles. Be willing to deliver orders to job site locations in a Transit Van or Box Truck. Duties would also include Front Counter assist, answering phones, taking orders, and help process orders for customers.
Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
Load and unload trucks.
Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
Drive vehicles with capacities under 26,000 pounds to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
Help with warehouse inventory, put away, pick products for orders.
Organize show room and warehouse areas.
Keep the workplace clean and products in their designated locations.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License.
Medical Card/DOT Card
Record daily run sheets .
Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.
Maintain vehicles in good working condition.
Report vehicle or equipment malfunctions.
Load shipments and materials.
Record details of deliveries or shipments.
Receive information or instructions for performing work assignments.
Notify others of emergencies, problems, or hazards.
Operate vehicles or material-moving equipment.

Nice To Haves

Osha fork lift license. Massachusetts hoisting licenses. experience working in a warehouse.
