Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: New York, NY 10016

Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel

Shift: Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts

Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $60 – $65 per hour ($2,160 – $2,340 weekly)

Position Overview:


"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is Seeking an experienced and highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide advanced, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in a demanding and technology-driven environment. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, manage life-sustaining treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.

• Monitor and manage patients on advanced life support and critical interventions.

• Administer medications, IV infusions, and perform IV insertions and phlebotomy.

• Provide conscious sedation in accordance with established protocols.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with providers.

• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions.

• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) required.

• Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active New York State RN License (primary source verified)

  • AHA BLS & ACLS (required)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU/Critical Care nursing experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Conscious Sedation

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with IV Insertion and Phlebotomy

• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (not required)
