Location: Hyannis MA 02601

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 40 hours/week; 8- or 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM3:30/5:30 PM or 9:00 AM5:30/7:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $45$50 per hour

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Surgical Technologist Operating Room (OR General) for an exciting job in Hyannis MA.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and RNs during surgical procedures ensuring a sterile and safe environment.

• Prepare operating rooms including instruments equipment drapes and sterile solutions.

• Perform scrub technician duties across all specialties.

• Pass instruments during procedures assist with retractors cut sutures and support surgical counts.

• Prepare and manage surgical specimens for laboratory analysis.

• Assist with application of dressings and ensure required instrumentation is available per case.

• Support patient transport positioning and transfer to recovery.

• Operate and understand sterilization processes lighting suction and diagnostic equipment.

• Prepare and label medications during procedures under RN and surgeon direction.

• Assist with room turnover and restocking.

• Support orientation of new OR staff and participate in meetings in-services and professional development.

• Uphold patient privacy dignity safety and demonstrate consistent service excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.

• Graduate of an accredited Operating Room Technician/Surgical Technologist program (civilian or military).

• National Certification required within 12 months of graduation and must be maintained (NBSTSA).

• Certification must be from an agency accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and recognized by relevant surgical organizations.

• Current BLS certification required.

• Orthopedic experience strongly preferred.
