Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional, classroom assistant, or in another support role within an educational setting
• Understanding of child development and willingness to learn intervention and support strategies
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents
• Flexibility and patience when working with students of diverse backgrounds and needs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Support individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Implement strategies and accommodations as outlined in student plans
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and supervision during activities
• Contribute to a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to educators
• Support students with personal care needs as required
